The Signal Score™ is the proprietary diagnostic I built to answer the question clients ask most about narrative: “How do we know this is the right way to tell our story?” It evaluates narrative strength across the seven core dimensions that shape stakeholder perceptions and assigns a benchmark score out of 100, providing objective, comparable data you can present with confidence.

A combination of classic storytelling structures and business narrative principles, the dimensions are ones that I’ve refined over two decades in healthcare communications. The Signal Score™ rubric applies these principles systematically to corporate communications, making narrative strength measurable and comparable across companies.
