About K7 Communications
I’m Kieran Fagan, and I’ve spent more than two decades in healthcare communications. I’ve led communications strategy from both sides of the profession: in-house at Novartis, CVS Health, and Aetna, and agency-side at W2O Group (now Real Chemistry), advising both startup biotech and large pharmaceutical companies.
Along the way, I’ve shaped narratives, guided positioning, and helped leaders communicate with clarity and credibility. I learned that healthcare narratives have to work harder than narratives in most industries, expressing strategy clearly while navigating complex science, strict regulation, and diverse stakeholders.
To better understand what separates clear narratives from those that dissolve into category noise, I developed the Signal Score™ framework which evaluates narrative strength across seven core dimensions. Using it, I’ve built a benchmark dataset covering more than 750 healthcare companies across pharma, biotech, and medtech. That data now informs my narrative analysis and benchmarking for clients.
Today, I partner with healthcare agencies as a specialist in narrative intelligence, providing the competitive insight they need to assess, benchmark and strengthen client narratives.
